About VORT8X
From one racer to a racing team
Team VORT8X Racing is based in Mangalore, Karnataka. It began in 2024 and now competes in autocross, with professional rally as the long-term goal.
History
How it started
VORT8X began in 2024 as an individual racing initiative. What started with one driver grew into a group of friends who decided to race together, forming a team to take part in motorsport events, especially autocross.
The team now enters regional autocross events around Karnataka, with two drivers and a twelve-person crew preparing and running the car.
The ambition is to become a professional rally team, representing India at national level and, in time, international level.
